Dear Visitor,

To our dear guests - hunters - we would like put our beautiful hunting-ground at your disposal. This hunting area, rich with various kinds of game, is placed in the very hart of Lika county (Lika's Middmountain area; between Velebit and Plješivica Mountain). Diana is the Roman protecting goddess of hunt and hunters so we have chosen her to be our trademark and represents our hunting preserve. Majority of people find their little pleasures in hobbies they do at free time. People who walk the paths of nature and fail to notice details and particulars that appear (various sorts of animals and plants, landscape, view) lack sense of beauty and appreciation for the surrounding. They are hardly material to make a true hunter.

But men, fast in distinguish birds, men who have a perspective of animal life, notice and understand the changes in nature, are able to spot trails and details, have great chance to once become a true hunter. A true hunter has to know the ground he is hunting on, its quality, as well as game; he has to know how to help game in nature, has to know what is, and is not permitted or ethical. From the very beginning of the our existence we were hunters.To survive - humans had to implement into food chain; Hunters today are just a logical continuation of what have been mankind occupation since the time began.

The best way to protect the nature is to implement proper legislation and perform proper interventions into the flora and fauna of an area. A hunter, a person who is taking a part in the sport of hunt, is not merely fulfilling its own desires and enjoying his hobby, but makes a very important factor in the process of sustaining natural balances.

We would like to close this short presentation by warmly greeting all hunters, especially those who have already honored us with their presence at our hunting sites, by what has become a common greeting among Croatian hunters - GOOD FORTUNE and by our warmest hopes to SEE YOU ON THE HUNTING PRESERVE.
